Next year, you'll either have a job or summer classes lined up before school is out. SDCCD Summer Applications Open in January.
Immediate Project:
I need you to do this. It is a serious opportunity, benefitting you immediately and having immediate application (as I do not have access to the Bentley Education Network; I did like a good evaluation of it so that I can write about it). It will have some legs as I intend to leverage it with my training and software recommendations/consulting: https://civilhelp.com/ben-eval
It's also a foundation for other high-paying summer jobs and internships (and some of the unique opportunities to look into the software consulting business).
Cal Poly, in the Quarter system, is a bit behind schools on the Semester system because they start summer later. They can work later into fall, though.

Malin: use this summer to update resume and polish LinkedIn and Handshake. Attend every career fair and offered network opportunity. Submit way more than you think is necessary.

Ahhh, a day that lives in controversy.
The Loop of Betrayal?
Dash points to this day as his only example of me being less than truthful. He asked mom if the coaster we were standing in line for was connected to the loop we were standing under. Leigh said she didn't know. I knew, but I didn't volunteer ANY information at all.
Right before we hit the loop, I said "Lean your head back" so that he wasn't taken by surprise.
He calls my silence a lie (though both he and Leigh now constantly pray for my silence).
I did not lie, but, yes, I could have actively answered his question.
I consider this to be a pretty good 18-year record of integrity. :)
