There is a dent on the tube (optically irrelevant (consider truss tube dobs)).

The base has some cosmetic issues.  I'm not the original owner.  Apparently, one side of the base was broken in half.  It was repaired; I've never noticed the slightest degradation in stability.

This is well-performing, very versatile scope and a great value.  It's pretty much my recommendation if you can handle it's size (will it fit in your car?).
